Acceleration
Today's message is about acceleration.
Many of you are wondering how to contact your guides, how to hear their messages more clearly, and how to accelerate your spiritual growth. We commend you.
The ego was constructed to become obsolete. Eventually your Spirit will say "enough!" and you will rejoin the Source.
Your job right now is the following:
1. Expose the ego.
The ego is a framework, like the interior beams of a building. Become aware that you are not the ego, although you live in the building.
2. Simplify your ego structure.
Most people's ego structure looks like a mega-mall. Close down a few shops and pare down to the essentials.
How can you speed up this process? One way is to apply the metaphor of the building and the inhabitant to things you see all around you.
For instance, if a car is the ego, then the Spirit would be the driver, for what is a car without a driver but a big chunk of metal? If a radio is the ego, then music could be the Spirit.
Keep playing with this metaphor and notice this pattern of "who is the animator?" and "what is being animated?"
As you work on getting to know your own ego structure, you will learn how your Spirit wants you to grow.

Active Awareness
We have spoken to you of active awareness, and today we would like to contrast that with passive awareness.
In passive awareness, the Ego is the actor. There are three sides to the Ego: I, Me, and Mine.
The first one, I, always wants to be right and to look good. This part of the Ego says, "I am clever! I am never wrong!"
The second part, Me, plays the victim. "The whole world is against Me. Nobody understands Me."
The third part of the Ego, Mine, is all about "my stuff." The Mine aspect causes people to fight and squabble over money and possessions.
In active awareness, the ego (small "e") also has three parts: i, me, and mine. However, active awareness directs the ego (instead of vice versa).
Awareness of and sensitivity to the world moves the "i" to work, play, love, and interact peacefully with others.
Awareness of groups, communities, and societies allows the "me" to feel part of something larger, an important and contributing member of the interconnected whole.
Awareness of what is "mine" helps form healthy boundaries so each person has enough.
In this new pattern, you still have an ego structure, but awareness directs you. Your clear perceptions lead you to inquire, "What is the correct action now? And now? And now?"
These are some of the differences between passive awareness and active awareness. Again, we invite you to be fully present and to pay attention.

Advice
Happiness is your decision for today. If anyone tells you what to do, smile and say, "thank you." Be sincere about it -- you are receiving attention and advice because you are alive, and that's worth being thankful for.
We spend a lot of time reminding you to be present and to be grateful. You have noticed that these messages touch on some familiar themes. When you are ready for new information, we will move on to other topics.
Angels
Psalm 91, verse 10-11
There shall be no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Anicca
Today's message is about faith.
When you feel yourself in the depths of despair, there is one thing you can be sure of: things will change.
In the language of the Buddha, the word "anicca" means "nothing stays the same." Remember that change is built into life. Everything around you and inside you is constantly changing. If you are feeling hopeless, this information could show you a way out.
One antidote to feeling utterly defeated in a certain area (or several) is to spark your curiosity about another area. It can be something simple.
For example, if you're feeling wiped out over a relationship, get yourself to wonder what the weather is like in a city on the other side of the planet. Then look it up in the newspaper or on the internet.
Or if you're feeling hopeless about money, ask somebody a question such as, "If you could be any animal, which one would it be?" Listen to their answer, and then ask them three or four questions about that.
The point is to get your mind out of its rut. Once you turn your attention to a completely different subject and allow your curiosity to engage, you'll break despair's hold for a minute, and you'll start to set a new pattern of thinking.

Ascension
Today we would like to share a message with you about ascension.
It is the human's task to ascend, that is, to recognize the deity within and align with that energy, thus leaving behind the world of three dimensions.
Although it may seem strange to you, people can ascend and still be alive on Earth. In fact, it is your calling to work through your limitations and attain this state. Everyone is on the path to ascension.
When you look at your chakras and the energies which each one of them represents, you will see that you are rising from your base to your crown. Through lifetimes, and even within this lifetime, you are taking on new personae, new roles, and new tasks in order to ascend higher and higher.
What do you need to help you ascend?
You need increased resonance. When we have spoken to you previously about watching your intake, we are referring to experiences and sensations which limit your resonance.
You are fluid, and you respond quickly to the pull. Think of how gravity affects you, and think of how the lunar cycles affect you, and the tides. Now transfer that understanding to your energy field, which is even more subtle.
Some of you fear that if you ascend, even from one chakra to the next, you may be leaving friends behind. What if your companions are not ready? What if they enjoy "the life" that you once shared with them, but which you are willing to let go of in order to find new ways?
You are all moving forward, whether on the fast track or the slow track. But you will encounter great spiritual discomfort if you keep yourself on the slow track when you are meant to be on the fast one! This is the source of much of your grief, your sense of isolation, of distance from Self, from God, and your calling.
If you change, and your old friends reject you for your decisions, that is really their loss. If they choose to come with you, and then "fail" (there is no such thing as failure but only detours), have compassion but stick to your path.
Humility is the key. You don't need to preach or convert or "enlighten" anyone. At a deep level, they already know all about it. They are just taking their time and dawdling. They are like kids who don't want to stop playing on the street, even though their mother is calling them in for supper.
Be the change you want to see in the world. Ascend.

At Home
When you feel "at home" somewhere, you are relaxed, at ease, and comfortable. You feel as if you can be yourself. You let down your defenses, and you act naturally.
No matter where you are, you can feel at home when you trust yourself to do and say things appropriately. This doesn't mean being perfect, but keeping true to your values. You are your authentic self.
We are with you on your journey.
Authenticity
Today we would like to tell you more about authenticity.
Reach into your heart and see who you really are. Then you will find it possible to love that being.
Self-love empowers you to share your true identity with others. Locate your authentic self now.
Automatic Pilot
How many moments of the day are you completely aware of what's going on?
Usually people are aware for a total of several minutes every day, when something startling or wonderful or terrible occurs. The rest of the time they are on automatic pilot, wondering at nightfall "where the day went."
We would like you to switch to active awareness for as much of your time alive as you can. There are a few downsides: you will actually feel your pain when it happens instead of years later as it manifests as illness.
The benefits far outweigh the negatives, however. For example: you will feel more energized. You will notice the details of the world. You will become more creative as your sensory input increases.
You are here for such a short time anyway. Why not pay attention?

Belief
Today we would like to giveyou some wisdom about belief.
One of the most important things you can say to another person is, "I believe you." When someone is in pain, confused, or upset, believing will do a world of good.
What if you actually don't believe their story? What if you think they are delusional or distorting the facts? Believe the feelings.
If your friend says, "I just broke up with my partner and I'm devastated," it is not the moment to suggest why it happened or what might be the next step.
Instead, seek out the emotions behind your friend's statement and affirm them: "You must be feeling so terrible." "Of course you're angry and hurt, that's perfectly understandable."
Only when people see that their emotions have been validated will they be able to consider any other information. Otherwise, a refrain such as, "But it's just not fair!" will drown out any of your input.
You are under no obligation to agree with anybody's version of "what happened." But starting with sympathy for how they feel will open the doors wide to whichever conversation now needs to take place.
Think of how you feel when a friend affirms, "I'm on your side." The next chance you get, be that friend.

Believe The Best Will Happen
If you let it, fear can cripple you. Fear can keep you inside when there is life outside. Fear can send you wandering away when you should stay right where you are. Fear is a powerful motivator, but it is a false friend.
Ask yourself, "Am I making this decision based on an expectation that something bad is going to happen?" Ask yourself, "Am I choosing to act this way because I am afraid I will be punished?"
Know that your ways are not the ways of the Divine. Your logic is not our logic. We operate from pure love, although this is often misinterpreted on your plane. Just keep focused on acting without fear. Believe that the best will happen.
We are with you, as difficult as your journey seems at times.

Sometimes it seems to you that other people are far away from Spirit or separate from Spirit, particularly when they are acting against you.
We have another interpretation. Perhaps they are not acting in their highest good, but you must follow your own guidance and continue with your own tasks and calling, no matter what others do to try to stop you.
Change your eyes, not what you see. Focus on Spirit in every atom of every thing you encounter.
Spirit infuses everything. Spirit is the cause and the material manifestation. Perceive Spirit, and you will respect, honor, and appreciate every person, plant, animal, and thing on Earth and beyond.
This is your task: to give thanks for Spirit among you and within you. You are called to sing the praises of Creation in your own Spirit-filled voice. Go forth and bless everything you see, naming it as a part of Spirit.
Blessing appears easy when life is going well for you. You must remember to keep up your song when the way looks uncertain and your so-called enemies are gathering. Keep your faith strong, keep your song of praise going.
Again we say: your melody is vital to the symphony of all creation. If you stay silent, who will sing your part?
Breath
Watch your breath. There is a pause after you exhale, before you next inhale. During that pause, you're not breathing.
Watch this cycle for two or three breaths. During that pause, do you feel nervous, as if you might never breathe again? When you inhale, do you feel relieved?
Even when you're not aware of it, you are still breathing as long as you are alive. Breathing is a gift that you always have, as long as you are alive.
We too are with you even when you can't sense us. Don't feel anxious. Keep breathing.

Call on us. Reach out. Dear Friends, we are here for you.
Care
Our message for you now is about feeling supported.
Many of you say that you feel unsupported, and that you are carrying all of the responsibility. This feeling is causing you pain and suffering.
First, you need to decide what is your responsibility, and you will carry out those duties with honor and excellence. As for those tasks which belong to other people, is there agreement among you about who should be doing what? Do these people know how to complete these jobs? Do they realize it's important to you? Has full communication taken place about what needs to happen when, and why this is essential for everyone's safety?
If the message has not gotten through, try it one more time. Sit down and explain what you need and what needs to be done. Listen and find out where the blocks are. Work to remove these blocks -- it's in your best interest.
If all this happens and the tasks still go un-done, don't pick up the pieces. Feel the effects. If the electricity gets cut because the bill didn't get paid, let it stay off until the person responsible takes care of business. Don't come to the rescue.
What you will learn in this instance is how to give up micro-managing and how to let go of controlling the situation. What you may also learn is how people are unaware of consequences until they are directly affected.
You may be pleasantly surprised at how people snap into action. On the other hand, if they don't respond even when the negative effects are hurting them, too, you will gain a whole new perspective on what makes them tick. Then it will be easier for you to decide what to do about your relationship.
What are your next steps? People who will not act to save themselves even when they have the resources to do so are being self-destructive. If you continue to rescue them, you are joining their ranks.
Take care of yourselves. You have the support of the all-encompassing love.
Catalyst
Today we would like to talk to you about your role as a catalyst. Even when you are not the main character in a particular story, you influence the outcome.
Picture yourself in a circle of people who are seeking consensus about a particular issue. This scene could be taking place at home, at school, in your community, or at work. Even if you are not the head of the group, the way you participate in the decision-making process will affect the end result.
If you don't agree with the decision but you keep quiet, your dissent will still show through. No matter how well you hide your opinion with a smile or positive body language, deep down the others will know how you feel.
We are talking about communication among people at the energetic or etheric level. In this realm, your colors are easily seen, and you are constantly sending out messages about your reactions.
Since your opinions will be heard and felt at a subtle level anyway, our suggestion is that you might as well voice them on the physical plane. Thus you will be less in conflict with yourself, and others will not be getting mixed signals. You will be perceived and received as more consistent and honest.
In the long run, if you disagree with the group's decision, it is better to share your concerns and hesitations. You have wisdom that will benefit the whole. Just remember to speak your truth with detachment. Last, realize that once you have played your cards, you cannot control the process. Let go of the results. You have done what you could.

Causation
This is a message to you from Spirit.
We would like to share with you our teachings about what is happening on the planet at present. You know there is a tremendous need for you to love each other, to be honest, to work on yourselves as individuals and on your relationships. You have heard about "creating reality," and some of you are interested in how the outer world reflects your innner world.
Does "reality creation" mean that you are the "cause" of war or famine or trouble even in your own neighborhood?
No, dear friends, you are not the cause of this trouble. There is no need to feel guilt or sadness about anything you have done. With regard to world problems, those negative feelings are not helpful, and they keep you feeling knocked down just when you need to access your higher power and to let your light shine through. So shrug off that negativity and let it drop to the earth. She can absorb many things.
So if you are not the cause of pain, how can you be the causal force behind hope and solutions? We believe that if you become the channels you need to be, you will indeed foster love and joy on the earth.
Suffering exists because you are stuck in old ways of thinking and feeling, left over from past experiences. It's hard to look at new relationships with hope and anticipation, for example, without remembering the reasons why old relationships ended, perhaps painfully for both parties.
Growth is inevitable for all living creatures, growth is the same as movement. Growing can be painful if we don't accept it, if we struggle against it. Pain is almost always physical. Suffering is the meta-pain, the anxiety about the growth. Suffering is mental or spiritual.
So do you "cause" your suffering? Not exactly, but you sometimes allow it to happen instead of stepping back and seeing that all is unfolding, changing, and growing at a natural pace and rhythm. Working in union with that rhythm will allow you to move through your life with much less actual pain. Ceasing to fret will allow you to experience your changes with less and less suffering.
There is injustice in the world. "Not fretting" and "working in union with natural rhythms" in no way implies giving up the struggle for justice for yourself and other people. You were not born to a life of misery but rather a harmonious existence with your neighbors and with the entire ecology of Earth. Working for peace is a noble calling and we strongly encourage you to continue the ways you cultivate peace at home, in your communities, and in your nations.
On a personal level, today, think about how you allow peace to flow through you or where you block it. Do you refuse to return the smile of someone you don't know because you are afraid of strangers? Based on your past experience, strangers might have been dangerous. Keep yourself safe in order to continue, survival is the prime operative. All this is normal, but you have gone into overdrive and are now shutting out potential sources of energy and opportunities to let peace flow through you.
Next time you are in a situation in which you could share a moment of friendliness or close down, evaluate the moment with your mind and then give your heart a chance to take a look. How far out on a limb are you willing to go today? What happens if you take that risk? Growth, change can be painful, but the more flexible you become, the more growth will give you a sensation of limberness and youth.
One of the keys to happiness is knowing when and how much to reach out. Each person has cycles of opening and closing. Look at your own seasons of hibernation and blossoming, and make sure you haven't been stuck in "sleep" mode for too long.
